What message do you want to send to a soldier this Veterans Day (Nov. 11)? Maybe you have a loved one serving -- a husband, a son, a daughter, a nephew, a niece, a friend. Maybe you know someone who's served? How would you tell them we're thinking about them?

Post your messages to a veteran here.

Thanks!

To you a soldier I say thank you.  Thank you for being there for my country while I sleep, while I eat, while I pray.  Thank you for watching over me while I live the freedom that your diligence provides.

I am raising two future soldiers and I salute not only you but your families, your family that raised you to be patriotic, responsible and willing to give your life so that your family can be free. Your sacrifice can never be measured, never be tallied and never be counted.  But for me it will always be treasured, you are a gift to all of us, you are the true American Hero, you are a US soldier.

To you I say from the depths of my heart...Thank You.

Thank you!

Thank you for understanding America’s need for service men and women and answering the call of your country.

Thank you for enduring the rigors of battle in order to advance freedom around the world.

Thank you, too, for your families who are serving right along side you.

You are our finest and I am grateful beyond measure!

Thank you!

To my dad, a Vietnam War vet, thank you for your courage and strength during an unimaginably challenging time. And to my mom, for being the love he came home to.

I would like to tell all of our Veterans, that if I ran a Newspaper, I would make sure that on Veterans Day, the one day we set aside to honor them and show our gratitude, that they would be acknowledged on the front page, above the fold, and in the Headline.  That's where they should be acknowledged.
